NO EXCUSE is formed by the member of MEANING, RISE, and BAUMKUCHEN, style with raging hardcore, influenced by old US / UK and Japanese hardcore.
Sold the first demo, and split 7inch with A.O.W.
Also the first album "Up Rising" sold 1,500 copies in 2014. After that the band made the split CD with FIREBIRDGASS and done the Japan Tour.
The band has improved their sound and message from the previous album.
One of the legend painter SUGI has done the album cover of "GRUDGE" ,and rest of the art work was done by VK Design Works, which made the piece more attractive.

「MEANING」のフロントマンHAYATOによる、STRAIGHT AHEAD HARDCORE PUNK、「NO EXCUSE」の2ndアルバムが遂に完成!

2014年に1stアルバム「Uprising」をリリースし、1,500枚販売という、この業界では異例のスマッシュ・ヒットを記録。2015年末には「FIREBIRDGASS」とのスプリットをリリースし、全国ツアーを敢行。元々定評のあった楽曲完成度、そしてバンドとしての表現力の高さに更に磨きをかけてきた。もしかしたらNO EXCUSEはMEANINGのサイドバンド、なんて思っている方もいるのかも知れないが、冗談じゃない。メンバーそれぞれ別のバンド、生活、仕事、様々な事情を抱える中で、足を取られながらも、常に前進を続けていたのだ。それはこの作品を聴いて貰うだけで明らかになる。以前にも増して切れ味鋭い楽曲を取り揃え、この時代にハードコアバンドとしての軌跡を残す。
前作アルバム時はJAPANESE HARDCOREへのリスペクトからだろうか、日本語詞が中心となっていたが、今作は英語詞を中心に作曲がされている。その結果HAYATOのボーカルはNO EXCUSEの楽曲に、よりマッチしているように感じられる。一番のスキルアップを感じるのはドラムのMATSUOKAだろう。彼らしいドラミングが随所に垣間見られ、ベースのYU-KIとのコンビネーションでバンドの足元は磐石だ。今回殆どの楽曲の作曲をしたという加藤のギターも冴え渡り、敢えて間引いたコーラスワークを補って余りあるサウンドに昇華。
メインアートワークは世界的ハードコアイラストレーターのSUGI氏書き下ろし。それをVK DESIGNが仕上げるというこの上無い布陣で今作品を完成させた。
